My copilot and I had a very comfortable visit to Edward’s Coeur d’Alene home! It was a much better price than hotels which we stay in most weeks and easy check in and out with great parking. The property was clean and well appointed with everything needed. My only challenge was me not knowing how to communicate with the owner on VRBO email and check in and out was a little bit of a mystery to me because I’m not use to it, but it all worked out. For us a 10am check out is very early because we typically depart in the afternoon but Edward said he had other guests coming or he would have tried to accommodate us. And, I’m a baby because I’m use to hotels, but why pay a 175 cleaning fee and we start the laundry and dishwasher and take out the trash, but I assume that’s a norm for VRBO and not unique to Edward’s property?I’d go back no problem, however.

Comfy home feel. Quiet neighborhood. Great host. Very close to the lake and Sherman Ave. We will definitely be staying there again!

This property was clean and organized well. We had a good visit.

Overall when first getting there it was okay, checkin we could not access the tablet as it wasn’t able to hook up to WiFi and kept reading an error code. My kids and I mainly stayed upstairs due to it being a bit chilly downstairs. Another thing was al the video recording and than also reading through the binder that neighbors would be watching. I understand that there may not aways be great people renting properties but as a single mom with four kids this made our stay a little on the uneasy feeling side. One of the main reasons of staying upstairs and just playing family board games, or watching movies. We did enjoy using the hot tub but again we also heard noises and just felt uneasy as if we were being watched. Overall it was clean and the property owner did get back to us promptly.
