Blue Gums Hotel Motel

Quiet, clean, no stress breakfast and awesome meal in the dining room. Lovely staff. Pretty spot. Great facilities nearby. Affordable!

The rooms were neat and tidy, bed was comfortable, free breakfast in room (cereal and toast) tea n coffee, nice hot shower. Overall it was value for money, the restaurant and bar were great value

The TV was outdated and unable to decide new digital channels, overwhelming smell of chlorine which resolved with airing out room

We received the warmest welcome from Ellie (shortened name), she was honestly lovely. Also gave us some recommendations for things to do close by which was really helpful. The room is not 5 star and it is outdated, but I can’t recommend highly enough. It was comfortable, spacious enough for three of us, lovely hot shower, a nice continental breaky included, a little table to eat at, parking right in front, and great value for money!

The staff were really nice, Having 3 separate beds was great, and the location wasn't bad

Firstly, there is no hotel reception desk and no signage advising where to go, you kind of have to wander around querying random people. Eventually, you work out you have to walk through the gaming room, which children under 18 cannot enter. Someone in a room near ours had the tv on until around 3:45 in the morning, and a couple were arguing on and off during the night. There is just no soundproofing, so you can hear everything. The room didn't have a hairdryer, you couldn't fit the kettle under the tap to fill it, the pillows were really hard, and my daughter's bed was so noisy (like she had plastic sheets) that every time she turned over she would wake everyone up, including herself.
