The apartment was nice and clean and had everything I needed, and the location was perfect - right next to a train stop, over the road from a big Edeka, and a short walk to the railway station. The host was very communicative and accommodating. I always felt safe in the apartment, in the stairwell, and in the neighbourhood.
There is a lot of traffic noise that you can hear inside the apartment, at least with the windows open (as was necessary during my August stay), but that is understandable given its location! It's a tradeoff I was happy to make, however.
