The Lodge of a lifetime aptly lives up to its name. This was, hands down, the best place we’ve ever stayed in! The lodge is absolutely exquisitely appointed. The craftsmanship of the beds/ furniture is outstandingly beautiful. We haven’t seen more beautiful beds!! Additionally, the scenic views of the mountains and river have a deeply mesmeric charm. Our son had a wonderful time fishing in the river that he could just walk to from the lodge. We feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to have stayed in a place that we can only refer to in superlative terms. With much fondness, we will always remember this lodge and it will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Spectacular views. Well furnished.

Really appreciated the views and the hospitality. Very much enjoyed our stay and would love to do it again soon.

This property has a lot of potential. It is in a picturesque setting but needs a lot of work. The description should indicate such. Often newly listed properties charge less to build their business. (As 5 star VRBO owners we did that) Don't assume guests know it needs work because of the price. Just a few items of note: The deck and railing are in such bad shape they are a safety hazard. The view is great and would be even better if the windows were washed. There were lots of supplies in the kitchen but some items (pots, pans, cookie sheet) are in bad shape and simply need to be discarded/replaced. The "luxurious" sunken tub should be in one of the photos. It is an old green tub installed in the floor. No one slept in the upstairs because it was too hot. The managers were very responsive to questions we had and kept us informed about unexpected work on the well. Kudos to them. This is a unique property. With some work and attention to detail it can definitely be 5 star.
