Very nice place. Quiet and peaceful. Big house good fishing. Being able to have the family and the dogs was a nice bonus. Excellent stay would definitely stay again.

This is a wonderful, rustic property in a great, quiet area. We reserved the home for our son’s graduation from FSU and our family had a terrific time here. There were six of us and the house was roomy and well appointed. Get outside and enjoy the beauty of old Florida. We saw an adorable, inquisitive otter swimming around in the canal. A little far from grocery stores but the host does indicate that in the description so bring what you need so you don’t have to make any extra trips to Aldi or Publix. We would stay here again for sure!

The house was ready and clean for us. Everything we needed was there for us to enjoy our stay. Property manager was easy to reach and responded quickly. We would definitely stay there again.

Do rent IF: you like old Florida, great local restaurants, fishing, FSU football, boating (powered, canoe, and kayaks), plenty of space, reasonably well-supplied kitchen, and a common sense price.Do NOT rent IF: you are going for sandy beaches on blue water, like 20 something night life, like touristy areas and convenient shopping for souvenirs.We had a great time, spent an entire weekend fishing and enjoying the area (we'll retire here). Note that the house is very serviceable and a great place to hang your hat, it is not opulent or fancy but it is clean and enjoyable.GREAT VALUE!
