Beautifully designed hotel with great location. The nod to sustainability is admirable and it all felt very intimate and at one with nature. The thoughtful quotes inscribed into the garden or sculptures helped promote mindfulness and being in the present moment.
Breakfast had limited options particularly for vegetarians. In Bali, the definition for vegetarians include egg, dairy and vegetables. For strict vegetarians, dairy is fine but egg is not which then constraints our choices.
Also for older people, disabled or even those who have bad knees, be prepared for lots of stairs to move to and fro from rooms to lobby and restaurant

My personal favorite place in the Bali North. Ambient destination blending with pine forrest, located on steep hill. There is nothing like sitting, hearing no sound and looking in the deep green forrest.
Rooms are spacious and authentic, food in cafe is great. Fire pit option is amazing.
