The check-in process and communication with the host was easy and great. We LOVED the location, such a nice/easy walk to town and pretty much anything you need. The house is a tad dated, which is fine. We mostly noticed it in the kitchen (had issues with the oven, the dishwasher is quite old but works). If you aren’t trying to cook anything major, that probably won’t matter though. They have an amazing deck with a hot tub (huge plus), we just wish they had more of an outdoor furniture set up. There were a couple plastic chairs and a lounge chair, but no real table with chairs to use for eating outside. The area is very quiet which is nice, and the primary bed/bath upstairs is quite spacious. The beds were pretty comfortable too. I’d say our biggest gripe for the price was that there was no AC in the house. It was only in the mid to high 60s each day and got to low 40s at night, but it was still 75 in the house. We all had a hard a bit of a hard time sleeping with the temperature. But again, if you go in colder months, it probably doesn’t matter. Just a struggle for the Summer time.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Great location close to the trails and just a 10 minute walk from downtown. Beautiful mountain views. The kitchen is well stocked. We love the outside deck and the hot tub is perfect after a long day of skiing or hiking.

Great location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house works great for us due to the location, size and pet friendliness. We have rented it before and decided to rent it for a month this summer. Unfortunately, we had to move out after 3.5 weeks due to a clogged sewer line that flooded the basement that is not accessible for renters. The property management company found another house for us but it was 10 miles away so not ideal.
