Great place to stay in Mount Maunganui. The unit is small but well appointed, private and quiet with a lovely outlook.

Overall, our stay was good. The location is great, right on the beach and has a gate which made us feel secure. You can easily walk to Mt Maunganui. GPS says it’s a 30 minute walk, though if you go along the beach line, it doesn’t feel that long. The inside of the flat was spacious and had lots of amenities. I particularly enjoyed the washing and dryer machine as well as the coffee maker! When we arrived, the flat was pretty dirty. The carpet had visible dirt on, and there was toothpaste in residue from someone flossing their teeth on the mirror. Other than cleanliness, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay contact with the host was great!

It’s a great property and so close to beach and town. The bed was too low for me but that’s just personal preference. The neighbours were also playing loud music on and off throughout Saturday night which the hosts have no control over.

Excellent little spot. A very easy walk to bay oval & we enjoyed a quiet cuppa overlooking the garden in the morning.
