My sister, mother, husband, pups, and I booked a weekend trip here for a quick getaway. We were primarily looking for places that were secluded and with private outdoor places to explore without running into anyone. This checked all of the boxes. The aesthetic of the cabin is perfect. The trails, lakes, abandoned house, old barn, and teepees on the property made it interesting and fun. We water colored on the wrap around porch in the morning and hiked down to the lake to have a picnic in the afternoon. Perfect recharge. There were events that were unplanned and could not be predicted in advance by the owner, and she communicated effectively and resolved everything and then some. We will return.

My wife, one of my daughters and I all had various writing and art projects we were working on. We rented this place to get away and have a chance to get something done. This place was perfect. We each had our own workspace and could really concentrate. The place was well furnished; the kitchen especially well equipped. We were also able to do some bird watching. The only problem was the air conditioner which wasn't quite up to the task when it got up into the mid-90s.

A beautiful, expansive property gave my family of four plenty to do. Hiking, riding bikes exploring the property, fishing, or just relaxing on the porch with book.Good wifi and a study meant we could keep up on work if needed, but the quiet rural setting and the beautiful atmosphere of the home made it easy to forget about the "outside world". Highly recommended.
