Great Location, home from home. Very comfortable. Loved the range to light a fire. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms with products, they’ve thought of everything.

The steep stairs but did not spoil our stay. To be expected in a cottage.

Beautiful character cottage, amazing beds and bathrooms , very homely lovely extras, great smelling shower gel.

Heather Cottage was clean, comfortable and full of character, it had everything you could need and more, even in this heatwave we were provided with tower fans in each bedroom. The contact from the hosts was amazing to. The parking permit is an added bonus, if you’ve been to Bakewell before you may know that parking can be a bit tricky so it made the stay even easier! We stayed here for a few nights as we walked 26 miles on the Saturday for the MacMillan mighty hike and the cottage was just what we needed to rest up and relax after our marathon (the bath was perfect!) just an all round amazing stay and would 100% recommend this cottage to anyone!
