I have three baseline requirements when I stay at a place away from home: clean, quiet, and good for sleep. This apartment met all three superbly and exceeding them considerably. The apartment was outfitted with everything we might need. The mattress was so comfortable that I have inquired where it was purchased, because we may buy one for ourselves. The HVAC system was efficient and quiet. The shower had plenty of hot water and a generous flow. Towels were fluffy. The owner was responsive to our questions. The neighborhood was great for walking and located between LaFayette Square and the Botanical Garden.
The only thing I would encourage future renters to note is that there is a tall outside stairway leading up to the second-floor landing. We managed fine in April but might have second thoughts about it in winter.
