The house was perfect for our family. The pool is amazing. The host was fantastic and made sure we were happy. We will definitely return.

The property was absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful time. Hot tub broke but that can come with anything you rent. When we messaged the owner/host she called us right back and had her handyman there to fix it. Unfortunately there was more than one thing wrong so we did with out it the last few days. The house could use a deep cleaning but overall it was a great time for sure.

Nice, big house with plenty of room with 10 of us. Great location with easy access with a Suburban. AWD equinox also made it at low tide. Private walkway to the beach with deck near the beach. Great ocean views from the house. Saw horses near the house every day. Fridge in both kitchen and lower level was nice. Outdoor shower was convenient as well, but did leak the entire stay. We did unfortunately have lots of minor issues, but nothing major and the host quickly responded. Pool water was very low and sandy, but it was cold during most of our stay anyway so we used the hot tub more. Shower in the downstairs bathroom didnt work at all and the master toilet was leaking to the point that we didnt want to use it, but there are plenty of bathrooms, including a half bath right next to the master bedroom, so it didn't matter much. The burners on the stove are broken and run VERY hot even on lowest temperature. We adjusted to it, but you can tell it's taking its toll on the pots and pans. The water pressure on the top floor gets very bad if people are using it in the other bathrooms and the water leaves stains on everything and sometimes has noticeable sediment, but we were told they just put in a new well, so maybe it's just a temporary issue. We also had intermittent wifi issues with some of our devices and TVs, but host was able to help. Even with all these minor things, it was a great stay and I would probably book again. We recently stayed at this beach rental and were excited about its prime location, which is undoubtedly its best feature. However, our experience was marred by several significant issues. First and foremost, the water system had severe rust issues, which we discovered when our laundry came out stained with an orange hue. This problem extended beyond just the washing machine; even our swimwear was affected after being worn in the pool. The owner did send maintenance to address the issue promptly and provided a partial refund for the ruined items, which we appreciated. However, the compensation was minimal, and the owner’s dismissive attitude and lack of empathy left a sour taste. The owner suggested that sunscreen interacting with the water was the cause, which implies future renters should avoid using sunscreen to prevent damage—an impractical expectation at a beach property. Additionally, we encountered several other issues: The cleanliness of the floors was questionable, leaving our bare feet dirty. About half of the outlets did not work. A light fixture was hanging from the ceiling in one bathroom. While we managed to overlook these problems and enjoy the beach, the overall experience with the property and more so the host was disappointing. I would advise future renters to be cautious, especially with laundry and swimwear. In other reviews, cleanliness seems to be a problem so perhaps a new cleaning company should be utilized.
