Signature Hotel Skarv

It is in a really good location; whilst being close to the city centre, grocery shops, train station and main bus hub, it is in a quiet, leafy area so you literally have no traffic noise to be disturbed by. It was (as always) spotlessly clean. The staff is friendly. Occasionally you may hear people enjoying a natter & drink in the outdoor area of their restaurant, yet it calms/ quiets down between 21 - 22:00 without fail, allowing you a good night's sleep. Also has nice, less conventional storage solutions for clothing & co. which I find very useful. Fairly spacious & practical, nice bathroom.

You do not have a kettle, coffee/ tea in your room. You are able to purchase it 24/7, however, As I prefer a coffee first thing in the morning and a tea late in the evening, I find it less convenient as I prefer not to walk to the main reception for a brew in my PJs. The hotel does not offer rooms with a bathtub.

It was clean and in a nice location. Good parking too.

We arrived early and were told 2 of our 3 rooms were ready but we couldn’t check in. The desk clerk did allow us to leave our baggage in a storage room, but it would have been nice to place them in one of our rooms.

Modern rooms and functional

Breakfast was very ordinary and drab and lacked anything special. Unexciting.
