I love the staff. They were so helpful so kind and everything was just so good. The premises were in such a beautiful location a little way from everything but you really felt that you could unwind very quickly and I recommend without a doubt. Dani at reception was fabulous we will be back

I can’t rate Amber highly enough! We had the perfect family holiday and celebrated my 40th birthday here, which made it even more special. Our beachfront villa with a private pool was absolutely superb. The food was delicious..the breakfasts were a big hit with the kids, and we adults loved the restaurant. The staff were amazing and incredibly accommodating. We hired a car, did a Gili snorkelling tour and arranged airport transfers, and everything went smoothly. Add in massages and sunsets by the pool, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you to everyone at Amber for such a wonderful, memorable stay! We’ll be back.

Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like. We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t fault it.

We liked the aesthetics and layout of the hotel which is set on a beautiful beach. The pool was nice, although a little deep - you're not a tall person you will struggle to reach the bottom which is tricky when you're holding a small child - there is a ledge for kids which is shallow and ours had fun playing on that part. Breakfast and food was good, nothing to write home about but we enjoyed it enough. Wine list was small but good. Everything was reasonably priced.

Very inattentive staff in every part of the hotel. From check in, to dining, to cleaning, we had to ask for help multiple times for anything. I am not saying the staff were rude, they were always pleasant, but we constantly found ourselves standing or looking around for service, and having to nearly chase people to get a drink, a towel, order food, clean our room even. There was absolutely zero anticipation of needs. This was over a period of 6 days. I never once saw a staff member at the pool for service other than to deliver food then quickly retreat without looking up. Twice when we went out for the day we came back to find our room had still not been serviced in the late afternoon. This hotel has a lot of potential, it gives 'island time' a whole new meaning.
