Lovely welcome from the owner/manager. Perfect room - nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Property has beautifully kept garden with a stunning fish pond. Right in the town, plenty of on site garden.
Breakfast was excellent. Plentiful, and so much choice. Everything was top class.
We booked 2 rooms - the other for my brother and wife, and they were very happy with my choice!

The location was good near the centre of the village and not far from Alton towers. The staff at breakfast were very kind and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast. The choice was good. The beds were quite comfortable. The size of the room was good. It was warm.
Arriving at night we struggled to find our way in the dark, turns out there was two car parks. It was a bit dated and the pillows were not soft. The curtains didn’t block the light well.

The staff were friendly & the included breakfast was great.
There was no working Wi-fi or TV, which we weren't told prior to arriving.
The showers had quite a lot of damp/mould around the ceiling & corners.
The mattress springs were incredibly uncomfortable.
