The large balcony was the main reason for booking this place. It was great for relaxing with a book, sunbathing and outdoor meals. The view of the bush was serene. Patting the horses over the fence was also a wonderful experience. The beds and pillows were comfy.
The living room was cold. The wall heater was ineffective. We had to use the Ned Kelly fireplace but the ventilation feature was not working, which made the fire die from a lack of oxygen. So we had to keep the stove door ajar, which made our eyes sting due to the smoke. We stayed for 3 nights and there was insufficient firewood, nor any fire lighter. Also the mugs in the kitchen were tiny, which was frustrating because your cuppa would be gone in 3-4 gulps.

The view from the back was nice and it is nice and quiet
The heating system wall heaters on timer swich of every 3 hours maybe for Warner months ok but not winter also the shower in bath tub ok if your young but we had a 70 year old and she struggled

Enough space for the four of us; location is quiet with a nice forest view; electric blankets were appreciated - open fire was a godsend
Not well insulated and bathroom had no heater.

It was clean and cozy. The beds were extremely comfortable.
Shower/bath- older people struggled using. Being a shower over the bath couldn’t get in, also only a shower curtin meant floor is covered in water.
