Hotel Villa Rosa Riviera

Lovely sea view from the balcony and worth the higher charge. Easy access via reception with very helpful male member of staff who chatted with us about places to go and some of the history of the sea front. Room was really good. And the bed was comfortable. Very clean. The breakfast was exceptional with so much to choose from: a wide range of fruit, yogurt, cereal, cakes, croissant, savoury bakes and rolls, cheese and meats, bacon, eggs, etc. Bus 11 from the station outside the hotel. A footpath/cycle path from just by the left of the hotel takes a traffic free way most of the way to the station. Takes about 25 minutes with cases. The bus to San Marino also leaves from outside the station. It gets very full but is worth the visit. A really comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

Nothing at all to dislike about the hotel. A bit noisy from outside in the evenings from locals/tourists at the bars and walking and from not very pleasant at all music from the bars. Lots of traffic.

The suite was huge with a comfortable bed and we enjoyed the robes provided. Fantastic sunrise views from the outdoor deck. Plentiful breakfast options as well.

The top floor is only accessible by a staircase, which would be fine, but at night, it was completely dark in the stairwell. We found a light switch, but it didn't do anything.

loved the free bike usage. We had a superior room and paid extra which was very nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location was very central for everywhere

I didn't realise that there wasn't a bar in the hotel. It was by a very busy main road so slightly noisy. I had to ask for more coat hangers as we were there for 9 nights and only left a small amount that wasn't sufficient for two people. That was the only storage in the room with also two small draws. Some hooks and more draws would have been helpful. Sun beds are expensive if using daily

Very noisy location, room was not “superior” actually quite sub standard, shower was a dribble, blind in bathroom only covered half of the window so visible to busy street below, no mirror in main room only the bathroom, bed and pillows very uncomfortable.
