Beautiful hotel in a great location

Comfortable hotel in a quiet area within a short walk of the historic centre. Staff were very friendly and on hand to deal with any queries. Lovely breakfast set us up for the day.

Breakfast room was crowded at peak times and got quite noisy.

the bed was quite uncomfortable and the pillows where unsupportive.

Room was spacious and location was ok.

Room was so basic for a 4 star hotel. One small mirror in bathroom , no dressing mirror, no luggage rack , and did not have a courtyard view as advertised; I was told the street was quiet because they had good windows. Not the case. It was extremely noisy and you could hear other guests in the hallway and in their rooms. I was told the advertised gym was not available. There were spa services but at their other hotel location. I asked for two extra pillows and only got one. The bar was an awful space and you might get a bad glass of wine. 400 euro a night could get me a much nicer hotel. Lesson learned at this place. Booking should check the hotels claims.
