Arcadia House

Absolutely huge rooms! Decor was fitting. Bed was comfy and linen was lovely. Such a quiet stay. (Perfect for introverts - we did not have to converse with any staff (but they were there if needed at any time). Can hear the ocean at night.

Loved that it is in a quiet, tree lined street. The bird song in the morning and evening is wonderful. Loved the chilled water bottles. When we checked out, we also knew our bus didn't leave till 5 pm, so Emma kindly stored our two bits of luggage on her side of the accommodation so we were able to spend a lovely day walking around then collect our bags. Otherwise it was a VERY long walk to a storage facility then another trek back there to get it and us to the bus station. Loved the verandah set up and the wooden board games if there was a lazy day needed. Communication via Booking .com was always promptly and effectively replied to.

A tiny microwave with a note 'For ready to heat meals only" would've made it perfect.

Beautiful home with large rooms, bay windows and bathrooms. With only 6 rooms is quiet and friendly. The location is excellent being so close to town, beaches and Top Shop cafe. The manager Emma was very responsive - many thanks for facilitating such a lovely stay

The verandah and couches needed cleaning - difficult with so much rain

Comfortable accommodation with close proximity to centre and beach - they provided water and milk and it was clean

There was no interaction with staff and there was no toaster
