The morning breakfast was incredible and delicious. The staff was very attentive.

Room was spacious, bed was big and comfy, terrace was nice to relax in the sun. Air con worked well and the fridge was handy for our drinks. The location is great for our needs and nice to be right next to the castle. Parking was not an issue, always managed to find a space.
The only thing I can fault them on, is the breakfast choice is quite limited.

That is within the fort and it’s like a little city
That doesn’t have a bar area , the offer to bring you drinks but there’s not like a menu you can see so might be paying €3 or €10 for a beer , who knows …

Location with its rich history.
Staff not as friendly as before as we visited and stayed 10 years ago. Restaurant in hotel has also gone downhill. All the plates we ordered had no flavor.
