Bit of an uphill walk if not acclimatised to the altitude but worth it. Lovely views across the lake. Llamas in garden. Good breakfast. Great value for money.

The hostal has amazing views of the lake. Freddy and family are perfect hosts. He even picked us up from La Paz airport (small extra fee due to distance). The breakfast is great, the beds comfortable and we loved the alpacas just walking around. It is an oasis of nature. Walking distance from the beach to book a boat to Isla del Sol.

Great view of the lake
Very, very nice garden full of flowers and birds (kolibries), it was a pleasure to spend a few hours here reading and overlooking the bay

Not sure we slept on a mattress or on a plank

Wifi and mobile coverage are varying but this goes for the whole area

Nice helpful friendly staff. Liked all the alpacas, cats etc in the grounds. Good views of the town and lake from the bedroom
The place is very tired. The breakfast was fairly poor quality and inedible. We weren’t allocated a bungalow in the garden as booked, and instead put in one of the noisy rooms in the main block. The shower looked like a death trap, with no option for temperature control, it was just a single tap in the wall. The whole place needs a good freshen up and overhaul
