Sweet Spot @ Beach

We had a mastersuite. Excelent quality / price ratio for this stay at our beloved Sao Pedro.. very close to the beach. Next to train station to Lisbon, but we didnt hear the trains much over night.. its very clean. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bar and mexican restaurant Paco Bigotes next door is just perfect..

De locatie was prima. 75 meter van het station, zonder dat je bovenmatig last had van de trein. Genoeg zaakjes om ‘s morgens te ontbijten in de buurt. Prima restaurantjes voor ‘s avonds, waarvan er één boven uitstak. Het Mexicaans restaurant van Paco twee deuren van het hotel vandaan. Lekker eten, niet duur en geweldige mensen. Strand was om de hoek! In het hotel was een mooie, schone keuken met alle apparatuur. Achter het hotel was een fijn terras waar het goed toeven was.

We zijn 8 dagen in het hotel geweest, maar in die tijd is er niemand van het hotel op de kamer geweest om de prullenbakken leeg te maken en te kijken of er bijvoorbeeld voldoende handdoeken waren oid. Er was een vochtregelaar op de kamer en die was ook wel echt nodig. Als je die niet aan had staan voelde het beddengoed en je kleding al snel klam aan.

What an amazing place. The location is perfect if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Lisbon. The train station is literally in front of the property, making it very easy to travel to Cascais (15 min) and Lisbon (35 min), with trains coming every 20/30 min. Don’t worry about the noise, we were not disturbed by it as the trains do not operate at night and in general they’re not too loud. The room was sparkling clean and the cleaning staff was present every day making sure the common areas are spotless. We felt very safe and cosy. There are some restaurants just around the corner as well as a small Auchan grocery store, which has all the most essential products. It was also very convenient that we didn’t have any keys, as all the doors at Sweet Spot are equipped with smart locks that can be opened with a code you receive upon your arrival. I did not have to worry about losing the key and could just enjoy the sightseeing. There’s also a really nice beach just across the street, it’s not extremely crowded and Sweet Spot provides some umbrellas that you can take to escape the sun. The owner was very kind and responsive, we asked for a hairdryer and he got us one immediately. Happy to say me and my mum have had the best holiday ever!
