Very easy check in, had everything we needed. Nice little base for exploring the Newquay and Padstow area.

We were both very pleased with the accommodation and the welcome we received, especially the items provided upon our arrival (tea, coffee, eggs, cheese, bread, milk, wine) which ensured we settled in straight away. This was a very nice touch and the flowers were very much appreciated as was the wine. The property was very clean and cosy which made us feel at home, it provided everything we needed including a washing machine. The off road parking could accommodate two cars and with the gates closed provided a secure area for the dog to roam around. The location is perfect for beaches in the area and just a short drive to Padstow. St Merryn which is a three minute drive away has an excellent fish and chip shop. I think it would be useful to provide more local information about the beaches and places of interest and those further afield etc. A big thank you to the host for making our stay a very pleasant experience.

Beautiful accommodation in a wonderful peaceful setting. Rachael was a lovely welcoming host and left us some supplies to keep us going until we could get to the shop. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, bright and airy, well equipped and had a lovely enclosed outside space for us and our 2 dogs. Thank you Rachael

Penrose cottage was clean, spacious and equipped with home comforts. The property was close to many popular locations to visit whilst in Cornwall as well as being within the beautiful countryside. Rachel ensured our stay was comfortable and she had gone the extra mile to make us feel at home. We would highly recommend Penrose cottage especially those with dogs, there was plenty of room for our two and had an enclosed space for them to enjoy their time in the garden.
