Great Location! Beach was only steps away and only 2 minutes from the grocery store

A beautiful home. Great location.

A Carolina Dream is a quaint bungalow in the perfect location with all the amenities needed for a beach stay. Just a block from the beach but still walking distance to groceries, shopping and restaurants. Complaints about the unit being "run down" are overblown. The unit was clean and in good condition. Yes, there are a few soft spots in the floor but none so severe they needed to be painted yellow (if you know, you know). Don't hesitate to stay - especially with your furry friends. This is one of the few rentals that include the pet fee.

The property looks good in the photos. However, when you arrive the wood steps leading to the door are about rotten, screws are moving up and down and boards are very weak. When you enter inside, it’s extremely outdated. The living room furniture is outdoor furniture and very uncomfortable. The queen beds are comfortable. The bunk beds are a hazard. They wiggle and there is NO support. Very dangerous and disappointing that my children had to sleep on those. The bathrooms are gross, the stand up shower is so small. The water pressure is terrible. For what we paid for 3 nights, this property needs to be repaired and updated. The only good thing was it was a short walk to beach access and close to majority of restaurants. I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness of the property upon arrival. There was dust and sand everywhere and they appeared to have done a quick run through and wipe very little down. Be cautious booking until updates are made.
