Within walking distance of shops & restaurants

Really hard to find. Think it could have been cleaner. Bedding and towels really tired. This unit is on its own so if you book the Southernwood units with family make sure they are together as per photographs.

I wasn't sure what to expect as there are not actually any pictures of the exterior of the property, but I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. It was walkable from the train station and had everything that my family needed for an a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The Lodge was comfortable enough for our party of three adults. Two double beds with one being ensuite, the other in the open plan kitchen/living area. All the basic facilities were there for snack type meals. Property clean, fresh looking, and warm. TV's/Wi-Fi etc, etc. Located and enclosed in the private, secluded garden area behind the main property off the Wantage Road. The host was easily contactable by messaging with any requests.

Location of the bathroom meant anybody in the open area suite had to walk through the second bedroom if needing the loo in the night Noisy pub next door open until 01:00am both Friday/Saturday nights. Be aware. Apart from that, all good. Thank you

super cosy and perfect for me and my friend for the weekend attending a nearby event. had a great night sleep (usually struggle when away) and had everything I needed in the kitchenette. super clean too
