Martyn is a great host, he was in communication with us if we needed. The home was beautiful, and next to the pier and restaurants. We loved staying there-so luxurious!

5 star stay !!! Our family stayed for 14 nights over Christmas and New Year. The whole experience, from communication with Martyn and Amanda, to checking in, to staying in the house, has been smooth, easy and brilliant. We had 3 different generations staying and everyone absolutely loved the property. The photos do not do the property justice. It is so much more spacious, cosy, comfy and full of beautiful things. Everything is set out for you to just turn up and be able to start using everything straight away. They have the most comprehensive welcome pack and the welcome hamper will blow you away!! The property is sparkling clean, full of lovely personal touches and everything you will ever need. It is so close to the beach, shops, restaurants, pubs, local attractions and so much more. We can’t wait to return and stay again. A truly magical place to stay and make memories with a partner, family or friends. Thank you so much for hosting us xxxx

There really should be a sixth star available to rate this property. Our family of 5 used it as base for exploring Canterbury and the coastal towns of eastern Kent. Herne Bay is a perfect location for that purpose and I can’t imagine there’s a better place to stay in HB. The house is located in a cul-de-sac right on the sea front in the centre of HB. Its unprepossessing front hides a wonderful property within. The house was beautifully furnished with every amenity that we needed for our stay. In addition to being a lovely place to stay, the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners was unprecedented in our numerous VRBO stays. Martyn was very responsive to our questions and went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He provided very helpful reminders that made things go smoothly. Martyn: heartfelt thanks from our family for your lovely house and making our time in HB so special!

The perfect base for a few days exploring Herne Bay and Whitstable. Clean, well-equipped and perfect for children.
