Cala Sinzias Resort

I had the most fantastic stay at Cala Sinzias Resort! I came by myself for some much needed relaxation and I'm so thrilled with my choice. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, the staff was amazing, my room was upgraded, everyone was so helpful and kind throughout the entire stay. There were two pools (with a beach bar at the larger one), and two restaurants. The beach was a short walk from the hotel, they also had golf carts to transport you back and forth. The staff at the beach bar (particularly the two female workers - Margherita was one) and the male lifeguard were kind, friendly, and super helpful as well. The beach was beautiful, I would stay there all day most days. Water was gorgeous and warm. They will assign you a beach bed for the duration of your stay. Anything you order at any of the beach bars/restaurants will just be charged to your room so no need for cards My personal concierge Isabella organized anything I needed from airport transfers and room needs to excursions in town all through WhatsApp. She was fantastic! I'd recommend renting a car if you'd like to explore outside of the resort as private transports can be expensive even for short distances and Ubers are not really available in this area (like in Cagliari). Breakfast had a great selection and was tasty. I didn't eat dinner at the resort though but the restaurants seemed lively, with live music at one of them. I would have loved to be able to order room service a la carte though (as opposed to a whole meal at a pre-fixed price!). There was a general store where you could pick up most necessary small items, gifts, and clothing (wraps, bikinis, hats, etc). Everyone greeted and treated me very warmly and most of all, I always felt safe and that I could contact anyone at anytime. I would 100% return!

Location da sogno e personale eccellente. Resort immerso nel verde a due passi dal mare, pulitissimo e super organizzato. Cibo fantastico, moltissime scelte e varietà di menù, mare semplicemente unico.

Brand new. Very good pool. Very helpful staff at the front desk. Has its own beach, but no service and no drinks at the beach. Very good for going for a run in the pine forest between the property and the beach. Due to covid, the buffet was not self service, which took a long time as understaffed.

Chemical smell in the room, that wasn’t dealt with after the complaint. Though space in the a la carte restaurant the maitre wasn’t willing to take us, because we didn’t book in advance. In advance means the day before, but we only arrived that afternoon. Totally inflexible and no commercial sense. Wonder if the owner would agree with the approach. Total disparity between the room and the rate. Ortigia guest amenity products are a new line that have nothing to do with originals and make me wonder where Ortigia is going. Not relevant here, but interesting.
