We had a wonderful stay! Abundant wildlife in the area and right outside our window. Enjoyed the hot tub, privacy, and beautiful drive wherever we went. It was about 25 minutes into town, but I’m used to a long drive anywhere I go, so that didn’t bother me. The only reason I gave it four stars on the description was because I didn’t read the part where it said the third bedroom was the living room. It wasn’t a problem for our stay and it was my fault that I didn’t read that in the description. I gave it four stars only to draw attention to this so the next person doesn’t miss it like I did. No fault of the host!Again, wonderful day and much appreciation to our host, Alex. Thank you!

My family had a great stay! We especially enjoyed the hot tub. It was convenient to the Natural Bridge and Safari Park (30 minutes). It was also close enough to Lexington (20 minutes) that we could drive into town for dinner.

clean place to stay. When we arrive there was a rottweiler in the driveway. Which felt uncomfortable. She/he seemed nice enough and went about their day. I'm glad we did not bring out dog because that would have been very uncomfortable. The house was standard enough. Nothing super nice, nothing super not nice. My biggest complaint was the microfiber sheets. Hot, itchy, and made of plastic. Please upgrade them to 100% cotton. Other than that it was fine. very remote. too remote for my liking. wouldn't stay here again. some people may prefer that.
