Excellent apartment in a great location for town and beach and a very good host.

Apt was so spacious and clean, lovely welcome pack with teabags and sugar and a bottle of wine.Paula was a pleasure to deal with. The newly refurbished bedroom was fabulous with the best sheets we have ever slept in. We loved our stay, abrigado Paula

Lovely property, well located everything needed for a great holiday, cafes, resturants, beach all walkable. 2 little trains to take you further afield, no need to hire a car unless you want to visit other town's. Property had everything needed well equipped kitchen, lovely big fluffy towels.

Having been to Alvor about 4 years ago we felt that although it was a really a lovely place it was probably too quiet for my husband and I at the time, and we had also chosen an apartment that was a good 20 minutes walk from the centre of the village. We said to each other at the time that if we ever had children though this would be a great place to come back to - and next time we would stay closer. So four years down the track we returned with our son and this time we stayed at the Clube Alvor Ria.It was a fabulous choice - very central (which was great with our son - no long treks), yet still quite quiet. Only 5 -10 minutes to the beach and 30 seconds to the village centre! The complex is very secure, nicely lanscaped, well maintained and friendly. The Owner was very easy to deal with, the apartment large, air conditioned and had shutters to the terrace doors - which helped our young chap sleep well. All good.We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this apartment. The only negative was that it wasn't really decorated to our taste but this is very minor compared to all the great positives. It took two visits to find this place and it was worth it.
