Everything was great and as described. The place was clean, open feeling, and had an amazing view from which we were able to watch whales. Location is great also. The only thing that would’ve been nice to know in advance is that the Spa at the Honua Kai is permanently closed.

Great location and beautiful property!

Great location of unit. Beautiful ocean views. Had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Very clean and well maintained. Excellent communication with Host. We would definitely book this unit again!

We stayed at Honua Kai 3 years ago and really enjoyed ourselves. This trip we were unfortunately disappointed. We paid for an expensive 2 bedroom room with ocean view. The room had been cleaned but the curtains and couch had a bunch of stains on them, the fridge water dispenser was broken, the light fixture above the dining table was full of dead bugs, the patio furniture had a bunch of bird poop on it, the shower needed to be re-grouted. The pools were crowded with children and families and one of the hot tubs was broken for the duration of our stay. The hallway walking to the elevator smelled like trash from the trash shoot. We did find it easy to order take out from dukes and you can walk about a mile down the boardwalk to find a great beach. We ended up cutting our stay short and went to stay in a luxury hotel in Wailea. For the price I was paying for Honua Kai I was disappointed.
