Very classy stay in the heart of ws. Great bed great atmosphere and super friendly staff. Parking was secure and abundant.
No hot water in the shower. Anti bed bug shoes on the bed (no bed bugs spotted or found). Cost was pricey for a single room.

The staff was excellent, and met every request we had.
The musty smell; a couple of things needed attention: one of the beds (Twin City) had a brace underneath that was cock-eyed; the table in the shower has a basket underneath that was hanging loose on one side (didn’t NEED to use the basket…just ‘looks-wise’); the key to the door of our room wouldn’t work easily…we had to jiggle and work with it…a LOT. The food was pre-packaged…not home-made. That’s why I go to B & B’s…I love the home-made breakfasts that are different every day. These were what we’d have found in a chain hotel. I have operated a B & B for 12 years, so that’s another reason I choose to stay at them…I know they need my business more that a big chain does!

"Beautiful historic inn! The lounge area is such a relaxing space. Shane was an excellent host, making us feel welcome and sharing the history of the inn. EXCELLENT hot breakfast."
