While there were a few surprises in the location of the property - the beach is much rockier and not as accessible as in the pictures - the hospitality and friendliness of the staff made up for it. Hassan our driver was incredibly helpful and Shakira our host was amazing. Angel in the kitchen presented a wonderful breakfast each morning and made a great Gin & Tonic (for medicinal purposes only). The pool is wonderful and pool perfect.

Love this place Asante Sana Beach Cottages.
The hotel staff were so friendly. The breakfast every morning was so fresh and delicious. Our Oceanview Villas Rooms were nice, cleaned and comfortable beds. Walking distance to Fukuchani Cave and Fukuchani Aquarium. 10 Cleanliness, 10 staff & service, 10 property conditions & 10 room comfort. Location 8.5 does not have the best beach in Zanzibar but close enough to Kendwa Beach.
