Hotel Alexander

Very friendly and helpful staff who were available all the time and able to give us advice and recommendations. They even kindly upgraded our room on arrival. Free parking and lift available. Clean, spacious, modern room with large balcony. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Good variety of breakfast options. Close to main town, shops, restaurant and beach.

Sea view was not as advertised in photos on booking.com. There is currently a very large building site directly next to hotel. The tennis court and gardens in photos are no longer there. We could hear building work from 8am onwards. This was such a shame as the hotel is great and the staff were amazing. Our room and balcony were beautiful but we were very shocked when we saw the building site on arrival. Although it is not in the hotels control we think the photos online are misleading.

Spotless family type hotel located close to the beach and in a quiet area. Lovely host and incredibly well maintained hotel that looks brand new. Nice breakfast. I highly recommend

The hotel is very clean, and the staff were nice and attentive. Also the pool is nice, and its in a good location.

Our room had a few notable issues. Firstly, there was insufficient storage space, a single rail with only four hangers and a tiny drawer for two people over six nights simply wasn't adequate for unpacking comfortably. It felt like the room designer had never stayed in a hotel before. Secondly, being on the ground floor posed significant challenges. Noise from the reception area, including alarms going off early in the morning, music and conversations late at night, was loud and the room was poor sound-proofed. It felt like anyone in reception was basically in your room. Additionally, our table area, substituting for a balcony, often ended up with other guests' wet swimming gear and towels, mistakenly treated as communal space. Overall, our stay lacked the tranquillity and relaxation we had hoped for.
