Gorgeous, family run inn on a working farm surrounded by rolling hills covered with cork trees in the Alentejo. You are truly welcomed and treated like family from the moment you pull up. And do NOT miss breakfast-it's outstanding with honey from their own hives, home made Quince jam, fresh fruit, yogurt, delish scrambled to order eggs and a selection of breads and cheeses.... YUMMY! Be sure to pet the 2 farm dogs, the donkeys and the very friendly pigs (no mud involved) - there were even adorable piglets running in the field when we were there

Beautiful farm, with lots of space to walk and enjoy. You are surrounded by nature, animals and silence. The room was spacious, very comfortable bed and large barhroom. I did not used it but swimming pool looked great. The breakfast was very tasty, with selection of sweet and salty, fresh fruits, eggs, and fresh juice and coffee. The owner prepared breakfast really early to allow me to have it before the trip! You can see how much heart & hard work he and his wife put into the place. Cannot recommend more!

The farm is quite far away from Santiago de Cacem. Without a car it is quite problematic to get there or quite costly (around 15EUR by taxi). I find calm and distant location a great thing yet worth to take it under consideration.

Everything! Super charming staff. Wild life sorrounding the hotel, fresh baby pigs, dogs, sheeps, and many more. On the way to the hotel you think “what is going on” but as soon as you are there you will find your perfect retreat.

We had a warm welcome from the son, who was very friendly and accommodating. The property itself is charming, in a peaceful countryside location. The pool is nice. There aren’t many facilities, but that wasn’t what we were looking for.

What we didn’t like was mostly related to the service. Although we were warmly welcomed by the son, the next morning the mother’s tone was unexpectedly rude and impatient. She pushed us to have breakfast earlier than the time we were originally told, and then asked us to leave sooner despite a prior agreement allowing us to stay by the pool after checkout. We were even given permission to use the toilet before leaving, but once we said goodbye, they complained about us having used it. If they didn’t want, they should have said so clearly from the start. For the price we paid, this lack of consistency and courtesy was disappointing.
