It’s a great location for exploring the local area with great facilities and places to eat nearby. We love this area and are repeat visitors.
Having stayed in this lodge twice now it is in need of a little attention. Mostly little things for example the towel hangers were all missing and the wonderful large corner sofa has been replaced by two smaller, less comfortable sofas. It didn’t overly affect our stay but just made it feel less of a well maintained place somehow.

Lovely quiet location & clean, homely accommodation.
Excellent, toasty warm hot tub.
Nice welcome essentials
Lighting a bit harsh in the evenings, one or two lamps would help with that.
Bathroom door sticks a bit.

Everything was tidy and clean and the hot tub area was secluded to have your own space which I liked
I would recommend a stay here to anybody
Will definitely book again

The hot tub was lovely and the decking was ice.
The inside was tired, and I’m really sorry to say did not match the photos.
Which was the main reason we booked it looked lovely. Sofas different and. Dry uncomfortable, bed needs a topper the springs hurt.
