Great location. Lovely rooftop terrace with seaview. Staff very helpful. 3 min walk to seaside bar with snacks. Easy walk 15min to castle. Very clean. They sell bus tickets at reception. Nice restaurant with lovely staff.

It was October- the bed cover was a blanket I would have preferred a light duvet.

Claudio was super nice. He made fresh croissants for breakfast

The location cannot be beat. Right in the heart of town, an absolutely amazing terrace overlooking the Basilica di Santa Croce. We had a room with a private bath which was very comfortable. I think the other two rooms had a shared bath. The Manager, Claudio, lives in the B & B and meets you when you arrives, prepares coffee and warm pastry each morning, and addresses any items a guest may have. He is very pleasant to work with. We contacted him using the Whatsapp.

To access the property, you enter through a ground floor garage and use a very tiny elevator to access the 2nd floor. We were 2 people, two carry on suitcases and two bags which took two trips up. The elevator is 3" x 3' square - like a small shower size. Otherwise you can walk up the long two staircases which are a bit dark - there were some sensor lights that did come on. I had no issue with the elevator but my Sister was a bit frightened of it. I only mention this because if one has any fear of elevators - this might not be for you. The noises of the city can be heard from the room and adds to the enjoyment - we did have a small noise machine which drowned out these same noises at night and early morning of recycling pickup and street cleaning when we wanted to sleep.

Lovely apartment, very central, the perfect location to walk out into the heart of Lecce. The shared balcony was literally next door to the beautiful Duomo which was stunning.

Unfortunately the apartment wasn’t ready when we arrived. The listing stated check in from 1pm - when we arrived at 6pm, the beds were not made. And this was an overnight price to include breakfast - the host was due to meet us at 9am for breakfast - at 9.20am, there was still no sign of host. We packed up and left. In comparison to the other booking.com accommodation we’ve stayed over the past three weeks this was very disappointing as we then had to go out and spend €20 on breakfast elsewhere.
