Vila Delta Travel - Mila 23

Gemütliche, familiäre Atmosphäre. Wir wurden bei der Ankunft persönlich vom Gastgeber Radu am Tor begrüßt - und diese Herzlichkeit des gesamten Teams hat unseren Aufenthalt tagtäglich versüßt. Wir haben es sehr geschätzt, dass Radu so sprachtalentiert ist (Rumänisch, Englisch, Französisch!) und uns so viel gezeigt, erklärt und organisiert hat. Die frisch gekochten Mahlzeiten in der Pension waren reichhaltig und haben unseren Gaumen bezaubert. Definitiv eine tolle Adresse im Delta, danke!!

The location is good & the owner looks after you finding out what would like to do & taking you on the boat trips that suit you. This is excellent as I guess not everywhere can be this flexible. We did 3 different trips & we were the only people on them each time. They used a different boat each trip according to the depths of the water we were going to & the guides were excellent at spotting wildlife & slowing/stopping the boat. The food was lovely & very hearty. All dining together made for a friendly atmosphere. The food was always discussed beforehand to check we liked it. Expect to eat a lot of fish.

Our toilet bin (as you can't put toilet paper in the toilet in the Delta) was never emptied.

Exceptional guesthouse on the waterfront, just a little removed from the center of Mila 23. Fresh cooked, homely meals. Wonderful host who took good care of us, helped arrange our travel to and from the village, organised birdsighting trips, rented us canoes and shared stories over a glass of palinka. Clearly, the highlight of out trip to Dobruja and the Danube Delta. Highly recommended.
