The house is very beautiful and the host is very lovely and speaks great English so check in was flawless. There's recommendations for food in the local area as well.

This is a very traditional and beautifully kept Japanese accommodation which we found simply outstanding. If you are looking to travel back in time, here is a fabulous opportunity! The host personally welcomed us in a very kind and polite way. We truly enjoyed our stay in this very special, almost museum like environment. We didn’t mind sharing a bathroom. All well organised. We definitely would love to come again, thank you!

Absolutely beautiful and meticulous guest house, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place. Very stylish, you can tell a lot of thought has gone into every last thing. Super clean. Super quiet (I don’t think anybody else was staying here when I was) and even though a little further from the centre of Kanazawa (15 min walk) it’s in a really cool part of town near some lovely/cool coffee shops, restaurants and shops. I only met one member of staff who checked me in/out and she was lovely and spoke great English. Futon was incredibly company and very much enjoyed having a morning cup of tea on the peaceful balcony in my room.
