Sweet small apartment, nicely decorated, two terraces, pool cleaned every day, everything you need is included in the house, walk to mini market in Sellia and two taverns, down to Plakias beach and many stores and taverns (Gialos our favourite). Up to individual to visit around this place. Owners very charming, considerate and left us with various goodies for our arrival. Surprise, I will not tell you.

Tolle Aussicht von der Terrasse- mit etwas Glück segelt auch mal ein Geier vorbei. Wirklich schönes Pool. Im Haus fehlt es an nichts. Es war sehr sauber. Im Haus gibt es eine Steintreppe- mit kleinen Kindern muss man etwas aufpassen. Schön ist auch der Balkon wo man der Mittagssonne etwas entkommen kann. Die Mietwagenfirma Best Cars die vom Vermieter empfohlen wird, war hervorragend- Auto wurde zum Hotel in Iraklion geliefert und war top. Plakias hat eine große Auwahl von Tavernen mit gutem Essen und schöne Strände in der Umgebung. Vielen Dank an unsere Gastgeber für den netten Empfang und für die schöne Zeit!

Wunderschöne Lage, toller Pool und ein wirklich schönes Dorf.

Stayed in Aug 2018 found villa to be of good standard. Great service from the cleaning lady who was friendly and couldn’t have done more for us. Photos on website do hide very well a building that does block a portion of your view, this really should have been photographed. Otherwise lovely view and although other villas behind it was fairly private. Weather was good except we now know that August is exceptionally windy and with the villa located where it was we had the majority of our stay in a sunny wind tunnel, so bad that on some occasions the pool started emptying itself onto the patio which made it very slippery, these comments are not a criticism but just making others aware that this is the case so they can make the choice. On the agent and owner front i had a price quoted for the villa which consisted of a transferred amount with a remaining amount to be paid on arrival by cash or in advance by card. We were told that if we paid in cash there would be a discount. This discount was misleading and confusing as they added the *** Euro as a card fee afterwards and then offered to take it off for cash. We were told the owner would come to collect the cash the next day but 2 days before we left we still had no sight of the owner meaning we had over *****Euro in the house for 9 days with no room safe to put it in. Eventually 2 days before we left the cleaning lady said the owner had asked us to pay her, so evidently the owner was too busy to take out money personally. I have not even been given a receipt for my money. Maybe this is now the Greek way but in the uk very unusual. Also some building work locally that disturbed the peace and a German shepherd in the house below that barked at you every time you arrived or left. In a nutshell the villa was good but was spoiled by the wind which blew all day an woke you up multiple times every night as it whistles round the shutters making a loud noise. This would be a fantastic villa minus the wind the confusing agent lack of owner interest and barking dog.
