Wonderful week at Family Tides! Great for our large family! Convenient, short wall to the beach. Large, screened porch was perfect for eating meals or lounging. Lots of space to spread out and plenty of games to play. Definitely would book this property again.

We loved the house but ran into a lot of appliance issues. The freezer didn't work. We had to throw away all the food we had stored in it. The oven would work and then stop heating so you had to stand with it and keep starting the preheating process over and over. The ice maker didn't work. The internet went out and we were without it for a day. We did enjoy our stay and the house itself worked well for our group but the appliances not working is definitely something that needs to be addressed for the sake of future renters.

This house is perfect for your family! We loved how well stocked the house was especially in the kitchen. Great location & plenty of room. The only thing that we would recommend is extra blankets in the rooms for cooler nights. We did call Peace for them and they promptly delivered sometyoe of blanket or duvet for each room. Can't wait to go back and enjoy DeBordieu again!

Ok, good things first. Great space and location. Plenty of beds and bedrooms. Nicely done bathrooms and furniture. The game room was a lot of fun. The one bedroom in the front of the house is not really a bedroom, not sure who would be comfortable sleeping there so I would consider this functionally a 5 bedroom house. The beds did vary in comfort, so were much better than others. The TV in the main living room is not usable as it is older and cannot download any updated apps. There seems to be a Roku stick on it but there was no power cord or remote to go with it. The kitchen needs updating badly, along with the bar / TV area cabinetry in the main living room. The wine fridge door at the bar does not close so it is not usable. The knobs on the cooktop in the island are totally stripped out so that is also unusable. The cabinets, drawers and pantry are aged to the point that they don't smell very pleasant. The old bread holder in one drawer is downright gross. The fridge is a nice size but could have been cleaner. The kitchen was reasonably stocked but all of the cookware / pots / pans / accessories are showing their age. Plenty of dishes and utensils but only 2 wine glasses in the whole place. All of that said we had a great time and hope to return but probably would look for a different house. Thank you!
