Palazzo Cappuccini Art Relais

The hotel is beautifully presented, combining historic character with modern comfort. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, and the open terrace provided a lovely setting to start each day. The staff were outstanding throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly, professional and always willing to help with recommendations, directions and local advice. The location was also ideal. Mergellina Metro station is only a five-minute walk away, making it easy to explore Naples, while the beautiful Bay of Naples can be reached in around 15 minutes on foot. A fantastic boutique hotel that we would happily recommend and return to.

Only 2 small things - rain shower needed a minor repair and would be helpful to have one or two extra plug sockets/USB

I like the inside of the building. Close to the train station. (No train noises). Close to 50kalo and other great restaurants. Beaches within 15 minutes walking distance. I had a good sleep and the breakfast was fine

For a 4-star hotel, it felt a bit less luxurious. The price isn't cheap. (even though it might be in line with the competition)

Good variety of food available options for breakfast. Very comfortable room and facilities. Pillows a little too hard for me. Friendly and helpful staff.

Convenient location to train. Nice outdoor garden. Room was generally clean and a decent size as Italian accomodations go.

There was no response at the gate despite our one-time arrival and we had to wait on the street with our luggage until other guests opened the gate to leave (not fun when it's 95 degrees outside). The bedding was a bit scratchy and the blanket appeared to be stained or dirty with something white. The toilet ran the entire time we were there. There are a limited number of electrical outlets in the room and none next to the far side of the bed. The room smelled strongly of cleaner/alcohol upon arrival and the air conditioner did not work for half of our trip; it was very stuffy in the room. You have to ask the front desk to manage the room temp and the gentleman there could not figure out how to work/fix it. We were quite miserable at night and unable to sleep in 81+ degree heat with no fans or breeze. While they did offer another room, the AC was fixed before the new room was available. We had a difficult time communicating with the front desk staff in English which made the heat situation that much worse. At checkout time, we were unable to find staff to assist. Although staff was pleasant, between the language barrier and facilities issues, I would not return.
