This is not slick everything perfect house, but it a wonderful place, Fantastic Kitchen, every possible kitchen appliance you could want with multiple varieties of each device. It is a pleasure to prepare food in this place with capability to prepare large meals for multiple guests, with a great view while you are doing it. Multiple large space seating areas for indoor/outdoor dining and gathering places. Great decorations, interesting games and books. 2nd time we have been there as a group. Great local hiking.

This huge rambling shabby chic maximalist home suited our extended family well! Beds were all very comfortable, and the baths and kitchen were stocked with everything we needed. We especially loved gathering on the huge wraparound porch! We spent four nights here during the hottest week of 2026. There is no central A/C, but Rob was very responsive and made sure the bedrooms had fans and/or portable A/C units. I would not recommend this property for young children or people with mobility issues, as there are some hazards that come with an elderly home, but older kids would love all the outdoor and indoor toys provided.

This is a cool 150 year old house with lots

The bedrooms were charming and super clean. The host was very communicative and responded quickly to my questions. The kitchen was unbelievably well equipped. We cooked every meal and had a lot of fun in the kitchen. One night we ate inside and one night outside—both tables are huge and seat plenty of people. Lots of outdoor games including badminton and corn hole and ping pong on the outside table. The kids were busy and had so much fun. I whole heartedly recommend this lovely house for a large group of all ages!!!
