Well I came here for my yearly trip to Sicily, one of my favorite places in the world. The host was kind, and recommended some yummy places to eat. I loved that this is located close to the main attractions and right near the train station! It was very clean and the beds are comfortable :) Thank you Danila for the amazing stay!

Communication with the host via WhatsApp was excellent. A huge advantage was the possibility of checking in much earlier than the standard check-in time. We were allowed to enter the room around 8:00 a.m. instead of 12:00 p.m., which was extremely helpful after our overnight flight. The location is excellent. The property is close to the airport bus stop and the main bus station, making it very easy to visit places such as Syracuse and Taormina. At the same time, the city centre is within walking distance, yet the room was quiet and free from the usual nighttime noise. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was large, the air conditioning worked very well, and all the appliances (fridge, hairdryer and iron) worked perfectly. The Wi-Fi was also fast and reliable. Another big plus was that the air conditioner was not blowing directly onto the bed, making it easy to sleep comfortably even during very hot days.

The room did not seem to have been cleaned thoroughly before our arrival. There was a noticeable amount of dust or paint residue behind the bedside cabinets, making it unpleasant to reach the power outlet. We also found a few dead cockroach-like insects, suggesting that the room had not been carefully checked before we arrived. The biggest downside was the insects. I would recommend not leaving sweet drinks or food uncovered, as they seem to attract them very quickly. We left a glass with a sweet drink unattended for a short time, and within minutes several of these insects appeared. It is not a pleasant feeling to sleep knowing that there may be more of them around the room.

The room was spacious and well equipped.

When we arrived we could not retrieve the keys to the room as the password did not work. Eventually we had to call the host and find an alternative ways to receive them. However, the main issue that we had was that from the second night and until the end of our stay we had to exterminate insects (the size of cockroaches). As a result, we could not relax and enjoy our stay.
