"La dimora del Glicine" is a 19th-century home overlooking the Piedmontese shore of Lake Maggiore. It was once the residence of an etcher of that era and has been renovated and converted into vacation apartments.
It is located in Belgirate, a medieval-style hamlet that was once a fief of the Visconti and later of the Borromeo families, situated at the tip of the promontory, where the Church of Santa Maria also stands and where Celtic and Lombard artifacts can be found.
All apartments overlook the lake directly and are equipped with free Wi-Fi.
Each unit features a balcony (except for the “Terra” apartment, which does not have one, as it is located on the “first floor”), a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, a sitting area, TV, washing machine, and a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer.

Very charming place!! The host was kind and very helpful. Belgirate is such a sweet quiet town. The only thing we had an issue with was how bad the mosquitos are in the area. Make sure to read up on if they are bad before you go!Definitely would come back and stay at this place. Cheers!
