This was the perfect place to stay. A few blocks from town. We walked to town a few times. Very quiet place. It is in the back of another house so alley access only, but super easy to get to. It was just enough space. Bed was comfy. Very clean home with comfortable furniture. Only issue for me was the pots and pans are old and the coating is coming off. Teflon isn’t healthy to eat so we couldn’t use all the pots and pans. Had to use the microwave to heat some of the food we brought with us. This may not be a problem for other guests. Just letting other guests know so they have an option on how to cook if they choose to cook. There was is table and BBQ outside. It would have been nice if there were chairs to sit on outside. The weather was beautiful and we would have loved to have been outside. We had a wonderful stay here.

We loved our stay at the Alger Hideaway. The property was so lovely and comfortable. Very dog friendly with an open gravel yard and plenty of places for a walk. Close to downtown but in a quiet residential area. Highly recommend!

Location was convenient, clean, and comfortable

Very beautifully decorated and new. Bed is hard. Management is worthless. Directions are horrible. Couldn’t find the coffee pot, contacted management. They should have been told me where it was. Stayed 3 nights and found it the day we left. Also no batteries in fan remote. Again management said it doesn’t work on remote. Wrong tried all light switches and didn’t work till we got remote batteries. Paid cleaning deposit but had to , wash towels, strip bed,and empty trash. Won’t stay again. Nothing against the owners, but the management was not at all helpful.
