I've stayed in Barrier Dunes so many times and love the complex, the beach proximity, and the amenities. My stay was overall fine, but this unit could use updating and also experienced higher that usual roach count during my stay. While I know it's Florida, it's buggy, after staying in many of the local homes, having 5 roaches show up during a 3 night stay is a bit much. Likely need a good exterminator visit soon!

Great location! Beautiful views!

This property at Cape San Blas exceeded all of our expectations. The home was perfect, clean, and exactly what we were hoping for.I have three sons, and I let my middle son choose our destination. His request was to fish in both fresh water and salt water—which I didn’t think was possible—but this property made it happen. Having access to both a pond and the ocean was incredible.Seeing the joy on my boys’ faces made this trip unforgettable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a unique and memorable getaway

Nice tucked away location, very close to the beach. Stephanie was there and provided whatever we needed. Negatives: This place needs deep and thorough cleaning - top to bottom, including ventilation system, kitchen cabinets, storage room; spruce up window treatments, remove dust from all surfaces not only commonly used areas. Musty odor. It is an older unit and it shows. Decluttering and removing some furniture would be beneficial. We will be back in the area.
