This place was wonderful, gorgeous room, shower, really comfy shower, perfect.. Little balcony which was nice. Easy enough to find free parking nearby.. only 5/6 min walk to old town of Lecce, so really such a great location. But the breakfast was incredible - unbelievable food, savoury or sweet - everything tasted divine, and so much variety, incredible food and very large portions. Coffee great too! Salvio and Monica obviously put there heart and soul into the place. When i booked they sent me lists of cooking , olive tasting courses etc. If I had known Salvio was giving the course we would def have booked. Amazing place.

Obviously I have to mention the 40+ steps to the room on the third floor - but Salvio and Monica communicated this before we came so we were well aware and it was not a problem. It is not as bad as it sounds at all, and you need the exercise to recover from the beautiful food. We were well aware of the steps and it was not an issue for us - it may be an issue for a more elderly person perhaps. Salvio had a very clever rope and pulley system that he was able to lift our bags up and down so that was fantastic! I would think very few properties in these old beautiful buildings have lifts - so its worth it for the welcome from Monica and Salvio.

Tastefully decorated and a very clean room. Super helpful host with a wonderful way of giving suggestions on how to spend your time in Salento lavish extraordinary breakfast varies daily. Out of this world delicious but too much food. Super generous and attentive hosts ❤️
