Regency Salgados Hotel & Spa

A good room, friendly staff, attractive garden and pool

I booked a superior room which clearly stated in text and photos which amenity’s it had. At Reception I was told it was a “Garden” room which was inferior. The hotel had different rating levels for their rooms compared to what was shown on Booking.com This is deception and it has happened previously with other hotels on Booking.com Individual hotels have full editorial control for what shows on the Booking.com website. It is misleading and causes annoyance amongst guests. Fortunately the Receptionist was willing to give me what she maintained was an upgrade but was actually, just what I paid for. Very disappointed with this shoddy practice.

The hotel is great! Close to the beach, several good restaurantes nearby, the breakfast was delicious as well as the dinners. Staff is very friendly, and the pool side food truck was incredible, it makes a day by the pool a must. Don't get me started on the SPA, absolutely amazing.

Nothing.

Breakfast good, Location requires some-form of transport if you want to see old / new town Marina etc

Charge to park in hotel

This is our 3rd time staying at the Regency Salgados. We love this hotel, staff are amazing, food is great and the pool area is fantastic. It is a 10 minute walk to 2 beaches with great cafe's and bars.
