Traveled with my husband and teen daughter. This unit is a little small for 3 people. Only one bathroom and the side patio wasn't much of a patio. The kitchen could have been a little more stocked with dinnerware, but did provide plenty of other cooking essentials. Our daughter slept on the sofa sleeper and eas comfy but it was a little tight with luggage and seating. The house was in a nice location within walking distance to the beach and several local restaurants. The owners were easy to get ahold of and answered my questions promptly. They were proactive with communicating as well. I would definitely use them again for future rentals.

Everything was great onlything was the parking which it lists ifyou ha e a truck or suv it prob wont fit. We were able to find parking at Off El Carmel at the The Bay or in front on the street during the hours you can be sure to check that first we saw that after searching for a long time. Check in front of the house on San Juan first.

The place was small, clean and had everything I could need for the perfect stay in Mission Beach. It’s a great place to stay when you know you will only be there to sleep. It was absolutely perfect for my needs and super close to the beach in one direction and the bay in the other. The location was spot on.

When we arrived, we were shocked at how small it was. Much smaller than expected. No refund policy so we were stuck (unless we booked and paid for another place– loosing out complete payment for the 3 weeks we had booked). So we decided to make the best of it (location). We had booked it whilst I had medical treatments in San Diego and my husband worked from there. Bed was uncomfortable and when we washed sheets and saw the mattress cover zippered incasement was grossly strained in human excretions it was appalling as evidently this had never been washed. Flipped mattress over so the soiled cover side was down and the clean side up and noted why the bed was so uncomfortable. The wooden slates were not in place. We readjusted them but they would not stay in place. In addition, we kept being blocked in by workers working on place behind the driveway. All in all we were very disappointed and would never consider staying there again.
