"La dimora del Glicine" is a 19th-century home overlooking the Piedmontese shore of Lake Maggiore. It was once the residence of an etcher of that era and has been renovated and converted into vacation apartments.
It is located in Belgirate, a medieval-style hamlet that was once a fief of the Visconti and later the Borromeo families. The village sits at the tip of a promontory, where the Church of Santa Maria also stands and where Celtic and Lombard artifacts can be found.
